Adding and Legalizing Units as Accessory Dwelling Units

Tuesday, May 11, 2021 (12:00 PM - 1:30 PM) (PDT)

Description

Please join the RHA and Adapt Dwellings, Inc. as our panel of experts discuss Adding and Legalizing Units as ADU's webinar on May 11. The webinar will be presented by Steve Edrington, Philip Barthman, and Gracie O'Rourke of Edrington & Associates.

About the Webinar: New California laws make it easier for single-family and multi-family property owners to earn rental income and add value to their properties by adding one or more accessory dwelling units (ADUs). This is also a great opportunity for many property owners to build new, convert existing property structures, and legalize existing unpermitted units. Join our upcoming webinar to learn more about the laws, opportunities, and challenges.

Topics covered will include:

  • Types of ADUs
  • New State Laws (Single-Family and Multi-Family Units)
  • Local Jurisdictions
  • Conversions and Illegal Units
  • Financial Analysis
